Legg Mason Partners Fund Advisor, LLC Announces Distributions for the Months of September, October, and November 2022

NEW YORK, August 02, 2016 /PRNewswire/ – The New York City Commission on Tuesday (Aug. 22) approved a resolution on behalf of the Metropolitan Police Commission (MPC) calling for an end to the city’s “very, very slow, and ineffective” response to the threat of violence perpetrated by the Islamic State (ISIS) during the 2016 elections. The resolution has been approved by a majority vote of the 16,000 commissioners.

The resolution said that it would have resolved the ongoing battle between ISIS and law enforcement authorities by amending a law on February 9 that provided that any “person or organization directly or indirectly associated with or linked to ISIS, who is identified on the security videotape of anyone threatened” by the ISIS that is “actively being apprehended,” must present “evidence of a prior threat to other public or private institutions (police, hospitals or medical facilities) or law enforcement officials, that is not identified, known or suspected of being a threat to the security of the United States,” and “in the most current manner possible,” and no “person or organization that directly or indirectly links to or links to ISIS” are exempt from the resolution (which will be made public after the next election).
