Construction Partners’ (ROAD) acquisition of Pickens Construction strengthens its presence in Houston’s North End and the Houston market. The acquisition, in turn, will enhance the Houston market and boost prospects. For the first time in years, the Houston-based company is providing “ownership” to Pickens Construction Continuing Investment Fund, a company limited to more than 10 employees.
The company continues to grow by a large portion in both the Houston market and the Austin market. The acquisition’s success has been primarily driven largely by the development of a team-based strategy. The acquisition has resulted in the company adding its “ownership” to the company’s “expositional” strategy, as evidenced by a number of acquisitions including:
